During Toronto Fashion Week, we had the incredible opportunity to be the official photobooth company for Kovv Entertainment’s Magnolia Event on November 9, 2024, a celebration of Toronto’s urban fashion scene. Hosted at the Rchive Creative Club, this event blended fashion, art, music, and culture, creating an unforgettable experience for all who attended.
A Creative Showcase of Urban Fashion
The Magnolia Event was more than just a fashion show—it was a creative hub where designers, artists, and musicians came together to showcase their talents. The evening featured:
👕 A stunning urban fashion show with statement pieces
🎨 Live artistry by The Half Decent, who hand-painted designs on models' all-black garments
🍽 Delicious food from ASK (Afro Spyce Kitchen)
🎶 A live DJ lineup, transitioning the event into a club atmosphere
Our Live-Painted Backdrop: A One-of-a-Kind Experience
One of the standout elements of our setup was the custom backdrop, painted in real-time by The Half Decent before the show.
🎨 Design: A white and fuchsia pink magnolia painted onto black fabric, symbolizing creativity and boldness
🏛 Placement: Once dried, the backdrop was moved to the entrance foyer, setting the tone for the event
The Photobooth Experience: A Fashion Week Keepsake
To complement the urban aesthetic, our photobooth setup included:
📍 Gold stanchions with white ropes, adding a VIP feel
📸 Professional photobooth & instant prints
🖼 2x6 photo strips featuring two images, styled with:
A white brick wall background
The Magnolia Event logo & our logo at the bottom

This event was filled with vibrant creatives, and we were honored to capture their energy through high-quality photo keepsakes. The models, designers, and guests were obsessed with the photo quality, making it a memorable addition to the event.
