When elegance meets innovation, you get something truly unforgettable—and that’s exactly what happened at the Living Luxe Awards. Held in the stunning Artifacts Room at Liberty Grand, the evening was steeped in glamour, sophistication, and celebration. We were honoured to be selected as the official photo booth partner for the event and to introduce guests to one of our most elevated activations yet: Luster Lab.
With a theme centered around diamonds, we knew subtle sparkle wouldn’t be enough—we had to bring a full sensory experience. We set the tone with our classic white backdrop and refined white booth lighting, complemented by our signature gold stanchions and velvet ropes. But the standout wasn’t just the look—it was the process.

Our Luster Lab experience began with a high-quality printed photo on a black-and-gold polaroid-style template, featuring both our logo and Living Luxe’s branding. But then came the twist—guests handed their prints over to our on-site artist, who added a final flourish: hand-applied diamond dust. Each photo was transformed into a tactile, shimmering keepsake, turning an ordinary print into a work of art.
This activation wasn’t just visually striking—it was deeply interactive. Watching the artist work her magic in real time gave guests a moment to pause and appreciate the artistry of the evening. The drying rack and custom Luster Lab station added a sense of ceremony, elevating the entire photo booth experience into something gallery-worthy.

Throughout cocktail hour, our booth was a focal point. Guests arrived in gowns and tuxedos, thrilled at the opportunity to walk away with more than just a memory—they left with a statement piece. For many, this was their first time experiencing something like Lustre Lab, and the response was overwhelming. Phrases like “I’ve never seen anything like this before” and “This is going on my wall!” echoed throughout the room.
This event wasn’t just about luxury—it was about adding value to a high-end experience in a fresh, immersive way. We didn’t want our booth to blend in; we wanted it to stand out while aligning with the elegance of the evening. And based on the reactions, we achieved just that.
