On July 20th and 21st, 2024, we had the pleasure of being a vendor at the very first Shomigo Market, held at the iconic Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Ontario. This vibrant marketplace was designed to bring the community together for a weekend of shopping, live entertainment, and local artistry—and we were thrilled to be part of it!

A Bustling Market with Local Gems

With 300+ guests attending each day, the Shomigo Market was filled with energy. The venue featured a diverse lineup of vendors, including:

🛍️ Vintage clothing, handmade jewelry, skincare, and artwork

🍰 Dessert vendors like Mofu and Pika Pika serving bubble tea and sweet treats

🎵 A live band playing throughout the event

✍️ Poesy (Poesy.ca), offering personalized poetry typed on the spot

We even got our own custom poem from the incredibly talented Toronto poet, Desiree McKenzie, making the experience even more memorable.

Our Immersive Photo Booth Experience

For both days, we designed a custom, immersive photo booth experience to reflect the essence of Shomigo.

🔹 RGB light wands programmed to purple, matching Shomigo’s branding

🔹 Day 1: Classic white backdrop for a clean, crisp aesthetic

🔹 Day 2: Shomigo-branded backdrop for a fully customized experience

🔹 Photo booth lighting set to purple to enhance the ambiance

Guests received instant 2x6 photo strips, each featuring:

This market was the perfect summer outing, attracting groups of friends, families, and local creatives who enjoyed shopping, music, and delicious food.

We received countless compliments on our fun, interactive experience and personable service. Seeing guests laugh, pose, and leave with a tangible memory was truly rewarding.
