There’s something magical about the holiday season—especially when it involves a wreath-making workshop on a scenic farm! We were honored to be part of McQueen Family Farm and Moss & Thicket’s annual event in Port Perry, Ontario, where guests gathered for an evening of creativity, community, and Christmas cheer.

Crafting, Connection & Comfort Food

With about 50 guests in attendance, the event was a beautiful blend of hands-on crafting and warm holiday traditions. Attendees hand-selected materials for their wreaths before being guided through the design process by skilled instructors from Moss & Thicket. And because no holiday gathering is complete without food, guests enjoyed hearty soup with rolls, baked sweets, and an incredible charcuterie spread.

In addition to wreath-making, a curated selection of local goods was available, featuring handmade jewelry, honey, skincare products, and fresh baked treats—the perfect way to support small businesses while getting into the holiday spirit.

A Stunning Holiday Photo Setup

For the photo booth backdrop, we embraced the farm’s rustic holiday charm. A 20-foot Christmas tree stood beside a cozy white couch, complete with soft throws, all set against the century-old barn adorned with simple yet elegant holiday décor. This setup made for the perfect setting, capturing the warmth and nostalgia of the season.

Guests loved posing with their handmade wreaths, creating keepsake photos they could cherish.

Instant Digital Memories

Every guest received digital copies of their photos instantly via email. The custom photo template featured a soft, festive design with pine stems, light pink accents, and a “Merry Christmas” message, along with logos from McQueen Family Farm, Moss & Thicket, and our brand.
