There’s something magical about Holi—the colors, the energy, the laughter. This year, we had the absolute honor of being the official photo booth for Triveni Mandir’s Holi Mela in Brampton, Ontario on March 24, 2024. With over 300 guests in attendance, the evening was nothing short of vibrant, joyful, and unforgettable.

A Festival of Color and Celebration in Brampton

Holi is all about togetherness, and Triveni Mandir truly brought that spirit to life. The event kicked off with the traditional Holika Dahan, where the bonfire symbolized the victory of good over evil. From there, the night was a whirlwind of color, music, and dancing.

Guests played with colorful powder, filling the air with bursts of pink, yellow, and blue.

The warm aroma of chai and delicious snacks added to the festive feel, while live musical performances and a Bollywood dance kept the energy high. The organizers even tented off the parking lot and brought in space heaters to make sure everyone stayed warm and comfortable.

Creating a Vibrant Photo Booth Experience

When Triveni Mandir invited us to be part of their Holi Mela, we knew we had to create something special. Our custom backdrop was a feast for the eyes, featuring:

• Colorful tulle

• Brightly lit decorative lamps

• Flower garlands

• Beaded accessories

Guests arrived covered in Holi powder, laughing and posing for photos, embracing the moment with friends and family. The mix of bold colors and festive decor made every picture pop.

Custom Prints for a Memorable Keepsake

We wanted guests to walk away with something that captured the spirit of Holi—so we designed a custom print layout just for this event. Each print featured:

✔️ Three fun photo snapshots

✔️ A vibrant splash of colored powder with “HAPPY HOLI” written on it

It was amazing to see the excitement when guests held their prints in their hands—a colorful memory made instantly tangible.

High Energy, Dancing, and Festive Fun

The Holi Mela wasn’t just about colors—it was a full sensory experience. The live music had everyone dancing, Bollywood performances kept the crowd entertained, and the warm chai and delicious snacks kept the energy going.

People gathered around our booth throughout the night, snapping photos, laughing, and embracing the joyful chaos of Holi. By the end of the event, everyone—ourselves included—was covered in bright colors.
