Dîner en Blanc Photo booth at Fort York in Toronto, ON

On August 2nd, 2024, we had the honor of providing our photo booth services at the prestigious Dîner en Blanc Toronto, a global event that celebrates elegance, style, and community. This international picnic event has become a cherished tradition, and we were thrilled to be part of the Toronto chapter, held at Fort York in Toronto, Ontario.

An Evening of White, Elegance, and Tradition

With around 500 to 700 guests in attendance, Dîner en Blanc is always a sight to behold. Guests were asked to wear their best all-white ensembles, while vendors and staff followed suit in keeping with the event's theme.

Unique Experience

The event was shrouded in secrecy, with guests being given a rendezvous location and transported to the top-secret venue by shuttle bus. This sense of mystery added an extra layer of excitement, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.

Traditions & Atmosphere

The event featured iconic traditions, such as the Napkin Wave, where all attendees raised their napkins in unison, and the End of Dinner Sparklers, a moment to close the evening with a sparkle-filled celebration.

Vendors added to the magic of the night, including:

• Clearly Canadian offering free drinks

• Visit Barbados giving away plush toy pigs

• Borsine handing out delicious samples

• Flower crowns and other accessories

Our Photo Booth Experience

To complement the elegant and whimsical atmosphere, we set up our booth under a white tent adorned with fairy lights twinkling above, casting a soft glow across the space. The photo booth setup was thoughtfully designed to fit the theme of the evening, blending seamlessly into the decor while creating a stunning experience for guests.

Backdrop & Decor

We collaborated with Party Pro Event Rentals, who provided a white floral wall as the backdrop, which we enhanced by draping iridescent beads on either side. In front of the floral wall, a sign reading “Canadian Special Events” was placed, ensuring that the event branding was prominently displayed.

For added elegance, the entrance of the tent featured soft, white fabric draping to create an inviting, curtain-like effect.

The Prop Table & Keepsakes

Our prop table was designed to fit perfectly into the picnic theme, featuring a gold basket with a white bow, filled with fake grapes and bread to mimic a traditional picnic basket. Guests could choose from a variety of fun props to make their photo booth experience even more memorable.

Instant Memories

Guests received their 2x6 photo strips instantly, featuring a white template designed to match the event’s theme. The template incorporated a thin hot pink frame, adding a pop of color that tied in Canadian Special Events' signature colors. It also included the event name “Toronto Le Diner En Blanc” and logos from Party Pro Event Rentals, Dîner en Blanc, and Canadian Special Events, with a special call-to-action for a prize draw.

A Night to Remember

The evening was filled with vibrant energy, stunning decor, and unforgettable memories. When the fairy lights twinkled as night fell, the entire atmosphere was transformed into a sparkling wonderland. Guests were delighted with their instant photos, which served as the perfect keepsakes from a night they would cherish for years to come.

We received so many compliments on our setup, and we’re grateful to have been part of such a special event. The Dîner en Blanc Toronto was an elegant blend of community, tradition, and celebration, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event! 🎉
